Homemade Chocolate Covered Strawberries

I melted down a bowl of chocolate chips in a pot of hot water. It prevents the chocolate from burning but it also keeps it nice and thick. Microwaving chocolate can make it thin and syrupy. : ( 

Interestingly enough, for some reason white chocolate doesn't melt as well as milk chocolate. Go figure.
