What the Hail?!

The weather today was whacked.

Nickel-ish Sized Hail

It thunderstormed early in the morning, then it was sunny, then cloudy, then rainy, then sunny, then rainy while it was sunny. Then this evening, in the midst of being sunny, it started to hail the largest chunks of ice I have ever seen. I know they can be monstrous in some places -- quarter-sized, golf ball sized, even bigger -- but this was the first time I had ever seen them as big as they were and it doesn't hail much around here. The hailstorm itself only lasted at most 2-3 minutes but I had enough time to snag some pictures and grab some loose change so I could put the size in perspective.
